On Instagram, Sheeran shared that making and finishing Play in India was an amazing experience and that touring there over the past decade introduced him to local artists and diverse musical cultures. He expressed excitement about this being just the beginning of his collaborative journey with these artists.

Beyond the music release, Sheeran is gearing up for several high profile appearances. He is confirmed to perform at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes on October thirty first, where he is nominated for International Male Artist and International Hit for his song Azizam. The awards ceremony will air live on TF1, and Sheeran is notably the most awarded international artist in the shows history.
