In the 49th episode we talk to Howie Hawkins, a former Teamsters trade union activist, one of the leaders of the Green movement in the USA and former canidate for numerous public offices representing the Green Party of the United States. Howie visited Poland as part of his European tour devoted primarily to strenghtening the international solidarity with Ukraine which he supports from the ecosocialist perspective. We talk about the intersection of the Red and the Green in the context of a global surge of the far-right, Trump's victory, Russian imperialism and Ukrainian resistance as well as Murray Bookichin who once inspired Abdullah Ocalan and the Kurdish movement and whose social-ecologist ideas inspired Howie's succesful efforts to push the American Greens towards a socialist programme.
