436 - Troy Duffy; Emma Hough Hobbs & Leela Varghese

Troy Duffy is a cult filmmaker for a generation. His 1999 film, The Boondock Saints, was seen by thousands, if not millions of millennials and became a favourite among many.

Now, Duffy is expanding on the world in novel form, with the release of Boondock Saints: Blood Origin, Volume 1, a new book, authored by Duffy, that examines how the McManus brothers came to be. It was released on OCtober 21st.

Animation is not just for kids, it's for adults too. And many sci-fi and animation weirdos, are in fact "Queerdos". This is, essentially, the origin of Lesbian Space Princess, a good old fashioned adult animated sci-fi story from Emma Hough Hobbs and Leela Varghese. The two talk about developing the film, getting the voice talent they did, why they chose the title, and the crossover between sci-fi and queerness.

The film is out now
