July 14, 1949 A robber disguised as a police officer goes on a crime spree over several months. Helpless citizens are kidnapped, robbed, and beaten senseless by the fake cop. He usually strikes when his victims pull up to a red traffic light. When one of his victims dies, the LAPD turns up the heat.
