What Engineers and Artists Can Learn From Each Other With Edgar Westerhof and Sarah Cameron Sunde
ENR editors Pam McFarland and Corinne Grinapol sat down with the husband-wife team of Edgar Westerhof, vice president and U.S. climate adaptation lead at Arcadis and Sarah Cameron Sunde, an artist working at the intersection of performance, video, conceptual and public art, to talk about climate adaption, water, and art.
Westerhof has been an integral part of the Big U and East Side Coastal Resilience Project in New York City, and Sunde is cofounder of the triennial Works on Water, a 2021 Guggenheim Fellow, and a 2023 cultural leader with the World Economic Forum.
