Veteran selector Mad Rass stopped by the Entertainment Report Podcast studio while in Toronto for an in-depth and entertaining conversation about his legendary career in Dancehall and sound system culture.
Mad Rass shared stories about growing up in Kingston and Spanish Town, starting out as a singer under the name Tender Touch, and his early days singing on Creation. Mad Rass recalled Rebel T’s historic victory over Fire Links, Dutty Dex, and Bodyguard to win the Guinness Sounds of Greatness, and spoke about leaving Rebel T to eventually form his own sound, Mad Rass Movements.
