This week, content creator and event rider, Lucy Robinson (aka Footluce Eventing) is joined by her trainer - and former 5* eventer - Justine Ward for a refreshingly honest (and often hilarious!) chat about horses, pregnancy and motherhood.
Lucy opens up about the highs and hurdles of expecting her first baby; including the tough decision to step back from riding after developing pelvic girdle pain early on in her pregnancy. Justine also reflects on her own pregnancies, birth stories and life as a mum of three; sharing the funny, unfiltered(!) moments that come with raising kids alongside horses.
Together they talk support through pregnancy, postnatal wobbles, and the truth about not always feeling “maternal”.
There’s some solid gold advice too: Justine’s mantra to “not overthink it”, Lucy’s refreshingly real outlook on pregnancy, and they provide some joint wisdom as they tackle our first ever listener-submitted Ask the Expert!
