Hi Beauty, welcome back to the show.
Episode 41 is allll about the nervous system and how we can use simple techniques to create change in our everyday lives. It's one thing to feel great during a guided meditation or private healing session. BUT - how do we feel good, or at least regulated, doing everyday life stuff that we may cringe at the thought of?
Sure, mindset work will work wonders. Yet, if our nervous system is not on board, it's as if our minds and nervous systems become at war with each other. The mind will want to push, and the nervous system will want to keep us safe. This looks like shut doors (opportunities), anxiety, dissociation and all types of other stuff.
So how do we befriend our nervous system? How can we get it so we don't spend hours, days, months, avoiding doing stuff we know we need to get done, but dread doing?
We get curious about our energy. About the state of our nervous system. The sensations we are experiencing and the mental beliefs we carry. And we learn baby, oh do we learn! What's it like to feel disregulated? Regulated? And what does it feel like to feel safe and at home within ourselves? And..how can we hold that feeling within ourselves when we have evidence that we haven't in the past?
