Michelle Peterkin-Walker, is a digital artist, community activist and creative social entrepreneur working across artforms from filmmaking, photography, graphic design, and community arts projects.

The founder of Akoma Arts in this episode she chats about her creative inspirations, her heritage and the power of being part of creative communities. 

She is in the process of working up two new films, she is developing - Meet me at the Spring and Your lens on L8, using her own and archive footage of the communities in and around Liverpool, L8, UK.

Ahead of her series of Book and Look open studio events in April 2021 at her new space in Aspen Yard, off Lodge Lane, Liverpool L8 you can also buy her work via her website and Etsy site.
