On today's episode, we hear from Elizabeth Michael. She worked in the fashion industry for 15 years, she grew up very spiritual and into her adult years she began to lose that connection as she dealt with some challenges with alcohol. She eventually found a shaman from Colombia who she worked with for healing from her stressful job and alcoholism.
She started a non-profit organization called Two Worlds One Planet. It is an organization with a mission to protect the sacred land and empower the people who live in areas in the Colombian jungle. They are working on land transfer battles, retaining lawyers and building and maintaining the local communities that really need our help.
