Our today’s guest is prof. Beata Kaczmarek-Szczepańska - a professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, scientifically focused on, among others, Engineering biomaterials for wound-healing, tissue-regeneration and cosmetic applications and cosmeticstechnology and biomaterials for skin or dermatological applications, which bridges polymer science with cosmetic chemistry. 

A co-founder and Leader of NatChemLab - company is based on strong foundations of science, which launched the oncological cream dedicated to people after melanoma treatment (chemotherapy and radiotherapy) - a result of the projecttitled “The development of a cosmetic intended for the care of the skin of people after the removal of neoplastic lesions”.

One of her most recent successes is finding herself on the list of 2% most-cited scientists for 2024. 

An active scientist, with her academic record becoming richer and richer, with many completed and on-going projects, funded from various sources.
