This will be our final episode of 2025. When we come back in early 2026 I'll have a ton of new and interesting guests. While I deal with the backlog of getting everyone set up, I'll be re-releasing some previously recorded episodes from this show and others. This will make sure there's no gap in content, but also give me a little time to collect some new interviews to make what will officially be SEASON 2 of "Exercise is BULLSHIT" the best one yet!


Today for our final new episode of this year, I'm thrilled to be joined by Dr. Giulia Coletta out of the University of British Columbia. Dr. Coletta specializes in exercise interventions for older individuals and aging populations. This is one of the most important areas of research in the field today.


Younger individuals rarely have a problem finding motivation to perform regimented exercise. Older populations however, who arguably have an even larger need for these interventions, really struggle to find motivation and practical interventions. Giulia's research to date has focused specifically on this area. How to create meaningful, effective and consistent interventions to keep older individuals engaged in progressive resistance training.


I think all of our listeners who know someone older in their life who could benefit from resistance training will appreciate Giulia's research and guidance on the topic. I hope you enjoy and I look forward to being back with tons of new content in 2026!
