Revelation 22:1-5 gives us a picture of "Life in the City of God." Here, we learn thatWe ought to look forward to living in the City of God!Why should we look forward to living here? Because of 5 characteristics of the city that we see here in the text.

In vv. 1-2a we learned first, of 1) The River of the City.

Then, in v. 2b we discussed 2) The Tree of the City.

We looked at the first half of v. 3 where we saw 3) The Ruler of the City.

Now, in the last part of v.3-4 and the last part of v. 5 we see 4) The Citizens of the City.

And finally, in v. 5, we consider 5) The Light of the City.
