It’s a podcast in which I help youunderstand the truth about who you really are, and how you can express and reveal that truth in the world. To do that, I interview people who have had transformational spiritual experiences—the type of experiences that many of us wishwe had, but never do. Yet by learning from my guests’ experiences, and the wisdom they gained from those experiences, all of us can glimpse a bigger vision of who we really are and how we can live our lives more fully, more peacefully, more lovingly.

My guest on this episode is Dr. Eben Alexander. I call him an “NDE Rock Star.” It’s kind of ironic. We sometimes say, “It ain’t brain surgery.” Well, Dr. Alexander was a brain surgeon! And a highly respected one. He suffered a brain infection, went into a coma, became brain dead, and his family was just about to pull the plug on his life support. Then he suddenly woke up from his coma and told about his incredible experience on the other side of the veil.

But this experience just didn’t fit with his former agnostic, scientific, worldview. It forced him to re-examine his beliefs, to search for answers about this other reality, and to take a whole new direction in his life. He wrote the New York Times bestselling book, Proof of Heaven. And now he dedicates his life to learning about and teaching about a broader understanding of reality, that includes not just material reality, but also spiritual reality.
