If these batteries aren’t handled properly, they can overheat, catch fire or even explode! In this episode, our special guest, Battery Man, provides important FDNYSmart tips on how to use lithium-ion batteries safely and our student host, Chloe, interviews Lieutenant John Cassidy of HazMat Company 1, a unit specially trained to respond to fires that involve batteries.
