For the fourth episode of Feminists Want System Change podcast at the Asia-Pacific Beijing+25 Platform for Action regional meeting, Lean Bayle Arcega Deleon speaks with women's rights activist Olga Djanaeva, Head of women's organisation Alga in Kyrgyzstan. Olga talks about the journey of her organisation immediately after the Beijing Platform for Action in 1994 and the growth women's rights have seen in Kyrgyzstan since then, especially against "bride kidnapping", a violent and exploitative practice against women with roots in the deep seated patriarchal community.
