Feral Dove Podcast crosses multiple time zones once again. This time it’s Sunday night in Seattle and Monday afternoon for Josiah over in Christchurch, New Zealand. Topics include: early artistic influences, thoughts on publishing books as a young person, sexual identity and how it informs the writing, Josiah’s work in theatre, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film talk, and the work / writing balance. ********************************************************************************Josiah Morgan is a writer from New Zealand. He wrote the chapbooks Inside The Castle (Amphetamine Sulphate, 2019), CIRCLES (SELFFUCK, 2020), & ROAD (Feral Dove Books, 2022). His feature-length novel debut ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ will be published by Amphetamine Sulphate in March 2022. Josiah’s writing has appeared online in places such as Dennis Cooper’s blog, SURFACES.CX, SCAB magazine, and Expat Lit Journal. Josiah has been involved in the Aotearoa performing arts scene his entire life. He has also danced with the Royal New Zealand Ballet. Thank you for listening.
