This is an incredibly inspiring conversation between Soul and Raushia. Raushia has overcome so much in her life. She had a very difficult time, battling mental health, addiction and racism. She spent time in prison and eventually made her way to rehab, where she began to rebuild her life. She had 2 children and had to learn to re-parent herself as well as them. She has worked hard to re-educate herself and is now giving back to others who walk the same path as her. She is a qualified supervisor and accredited counsellor and a trustee for women in prison. She is currently working with women affected by domestic violence. I hope you are moved by her tenacity and strength of spirit. She is a true role model.
