While it stumbles out of the gate with clunky exposition, Dead Reckoning ultimately finds its footing and fabulously sticks the landing. A purely entertaining trip to the cinema.

Impossible (ha) to fully grade until Part 2 arrives, much in the same way Infinity War was, but a solid and action packed, if long, entry to the canon, with surprising emotional beats.
