De: Die Sonne stand tief am Herbsthimmel, als Lukas, Klara und Friedrich einen Wanderweg im Schwarzwald betraten.
En: The sun hung low in the autumn sky as Lukas, Klara, and Friedrich set foot on a hiking trail in the Schwarzwald.

De: Die kühle Luft roch nach nasser Erde und gefallenen Blättern.
En: The cool air smelled of damp earth and fallen leaves.

De: Überall lagen bunte Blätter, rot und golden.
En: Colorful leaves, red and golden, lay everywhere.

De: „Macht mal schneller!“ rief Lukas.
En: “Hurry up!” called Lukas.

De: Er konnte seine Neugier kaum zügeln.
En: He could hardly contain his curiosity.

De: Der dichte Nebel, der sich zwischen den hohen Bäumen sammelte, verhüllte das Geheimnis des Waldes.
