He: נדב נכנס לקפה עם כוס קפה חם ביד.
En: Nadav entered the café with a cup of hot coffee in his hand.
He: רעש המכונות הקפה והשיחות של האנשים היו רוגע פתאומי מהגשם הכבד שבחוץ.
En: The noise of the coffee machines and the chatter of people was a sudden calm from the heavy rain outside.
He: היה זה ערב חורפי בעיצומו של חנוכה, ונרות חוללו את הקירות באור חם ונעים.
En: It was a winter evening in the midst of Hanukkah, and candles cast the walls in a warm and pleasant light.
He: שירה נכנסה טיפה אחריו.
En: Shira entered a bit after him.
He: היא התעטפה במעיל עבה וניערה כמה טיפות מים משערה.
En: She wrapped herself in a thick coat and shook a few drops of water from her hair.
He: כשלא היו כיסאות פנויים, עיניה נתפסו בנדב, וכמעט באופן מיידי שלחה לו חיוך שקט.
En: When there were no free chairs, her eyes caught Nadav, and almost immediately she gave him a quiet smile.
He: נדב חייך בחזרה והציע לה לשבת לשולחנו.
En: Nadav smiled back and offered her to sit at his table.
He: "זה נראה כאילו לא הולך להפסיק לרדת," נדב אמר ושבר את הקרח.
En: "It looks like it's not going to stop raining," Nadav said and broke the ice.
He: "אני חושב שמעט חום לא יזיק.
En: "I think a little warmth wouldn't hurt."
He: "שירה הנהנה.
En: Shira nodded.
He: "דווקא כשמקווים ליום יפה של חופש אומנותי," היא ציינה בצחוק, ונדב שם לב לשינוי בקולה כאשר דיברה על אמנות.
En: "Just when you're hoping for a beautiful day of artistic freedom," she remarked with a laugh, and Nadav noticed the change in her voice when she talked about art.
