Sindri Jónsson – Monster Iceland Sea Trout
I had the pleasure of welcoming Sindri Jónsson, a very close friend, head guide and co-owner at Fish Partner to the podcast to talk about one of my favorite places—Iceland. We reminisced about my past trips (thirteen and counting) and dove into the country's unique beauty. Sindri described Battle Hill Lodge, and we talked about sea-run brown trout—tough fighters that demand skill and patience—and swapped stories about fishing techniques.

Fishing in Iceland isn't just about the catch—it's about being immersed in landscapes shaped by fire and ice. Every trip leaves me wanting more, and I can't wait to return!
