Well, the first emergence of agricultural societies completely transformed humanity as we know it. The first recorded agricultural society appeared in the Fertile Crescent: a civilization called Mesopotamia, an Ancient Greek name meaning "the land between two rivers." It is here that culture, religion, food and government became forever engrained in our cultures and societies around the world.
