The 'results' of the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria have left many disappointed in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the entire 'democratic' system in the country. For the first time (maybe since 1993), a winning population of Nigeria, both old and young of different tribes and religions supported a candidate (Peter Obi) with competence, character, and capacity. Nigerians trusted the process to be free, fair, and transparent because of the promise of 'technological advancements' made by the electoral body. But the promise was not delivered, as Nigeria witnessed its biggest electoral fraud carried out by INEC, which robbed the people of their mandate by declaring someone else that made the streets go cold.
