Friends From Film School Podcast EP 58:

Classic Movie Night: Mad Max - Beyond Thunderdome (1985)

We might just be turning into the unofficial Mad Max podcast. This week, we continue to journey through George Miller's post-apocalyptic filmography and discuss the 1985 film, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome. Starring Mel Gilbson as the titular "Mad" Max Rockatansky and Tina Turner as Auntie Entity, "Beyond Thunderdome" follows Max as he drifts into an evil town ruled by Turner. There he becomes a gladiator and gets dumped in the desert where he is rescued by a band of feral orphans who have been looking for help for years. When several of them take his appearance as a sign and go off into the desert, he follows them back to the town. Four men enter, one opinion leaves. Listen to find out what Brad, Luke, Ellis, and Ryan thinks of Barter Town, Captain Walker, Master Blaster, and a case of possible screenwriting plagiarism in this week's episode of FFFS!
