"From Health to Healing: Tammy’s Journey with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer"
Tammy was a healthy woman. She very rarely got sick. In December of 2023, her brother died of prostate cancer. About two days after his death she was feeling really bloated… like not ignorable type of bloating so she went to the doctor. She was then shockingly diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer which had spread into her bones including her spine, liver, nymph nodes and more. Luckily it had not yet spread to her brain. On January 3rd of 2024 she was put on chemotherapy as what she felt was a last ditch effort by doctors. Tammy kept telling herself "I Don't Believe Lies". She was already having trouble eating prior to chemo and realized she would definitely need to find something to help her through her battle. She found Envita Medical Center’s integrative approach was the perfect fit for her. She started there on MLK Day. During her treatments she felt well enough to work and eat. Her last PET scan was in May and was “normal” and her last two blood tests were “beautiful”. She is still doing radiation to try to heal some of the holes in her spine.
