I’m Jennifer Bosma, and I’m so excited that you are here on my Front Parking Spot podcast. I vividly remember what it felt like to have those concerns over my family, how to grow my faith, and learn scripture promises, all while navigating life, JOYFULLY! I sometimes felt like I was swimming upstream in a culture that doesn’t honor tried and true biblical principles based on Jesus.
My 23 years of teaching elementary school to over 500 children, guiding parents and kids in their educational journey, coupled with decades of biblical study, and being the author of three Christian children’s books, brings me here to help you with your concerns over your Christian family. This podcast shares solutions, inspiration, and encouragement to help you now.

In this heartfelt episode, Jennifer Bosma welcomes counselor and therapist Lisa Cuss from Capable Life and Pathways Counseling to explore how anxiety shows up in motherhood—and how faith and connection can help calm the storm. Together, they introduce the Four Spaces framework (Inside Me, Between Me and Others, Inside the Other, and the Space Between Others) to help moms recognize emotional patterns, diffuse worry, and foster more profound connections with themselves, others, and God.
Lisa shares practical, grace-filled tools, such as asking curious questions, the Three H’s (help, hug, hear), and recognizing listening postures—empowering moms to move from spinning assumptions to calm, caring responses rooted in love and presence.
