Reading : Anticipation  Anticipation energizes me and increases my joy. Looking forward to a special event is an energizing feeling. Tending to details and doing the preparation work focuses my attention on the love and care I feel for those whose company I will share. Today I will pay attention to this feeling and savor it. Rather than rushing through my preparations and wishing the event could happen sooner, I slow down and feel my excitement. I feel grateful for this energizing and enlivening process. My awareness of my joy grows as my anticipation increases. I am fully alive in each moment, focused and present. Joy is with me at every moment. I am undisturbed by disruptions in my plans, able to accommodate sudden shifts with equilibrium and calm. The joy of anticipation is my delight.
