Two hundred thirty children in Cork and Kerry, along with one hundred nine families in the South West and seven hundred twelve adults in Cork city, will spend Christmas in emergency accommodation. Focus Ireland, a charity supporting homeless families, helped forty-nine families in Cork this year and partnered to get one hundred ninety families with four hundred nineteen children out of homelessness. The charitys No Child Without A Home campaign aims to halt no-fault evictions, build more social housing, and prioritize families with kids. Theyre calling for volunteers, event hosts, and petition signers to join the fight against homelessness.
