Generation BTS: All The Albums
Generation BTS
35 episodes

Three generations of ARMY come together to review All the Albums BTS. This includes Natasha, 20, an elder army having been a stan for 7 years. Kristine, 30, who has been army for coming up to 2 year and Leanne, 35, our baby army of just 18 months.

They come together to review All the Albums BTS. They are 100% not experts in music, K-Pop or BTS, so they’re just sharing their opinions and love for the seven wonders and their music. The reviews aren’t chronological; they are decided by a randomised wheel. So follow us as we move from era to era, Album to Album, performance to performance.

For each Album, we’ll discuss the tracks, lyrics, performances and background. Then share our individual favourite song, lyric, vocal, rap, dance break, live performance & look. We’ll also try and face the agonising task of what song we’d skip (if forced to do so!) and give the Album a grade.

So join us as we step into the Magic shop every 2 weeks. Borahae!

Reaction Special: D-Day by Agust D - Part One (The release schedule and first reactions to the album)

Hello Army! Happy Festa Month :) We hope everyone has been celebrating well for the 10th anniversary, and if anyone managed to go out to Seoul we are very jealous... We are back again with our first thoughts on the masterpiece that is D-Day. It's a bit later than normal because we were lucky enough to go out to New York to see the tour, and then we didn't want to spoiler it, so part two where we talk about the tour will be out later. In this one however we talk about all the content we got around the album release, as well as the D-Day documentary!

Trigger warning: self-harm, drug abuse, trauma, depression. Our Yoongi keeps us busy talking about a lot of big topics, including mental health, loneliness and trauma, so please note that there are parts of this episode that might be upsetting, thus it may not be suitable for younger listeners or for those for whom these topics might be triggering (topics include traumatic events, depression, self-harm, drug abuse). We have included some resources below for anyone who have been affected by the topics brought up in either this episode or in the content released around the album.

If you want to speak to someone about the content of this episode or if you want to get in touch for any other reason, you can do so by emailing GenerationBTSAllTheAlbums@gmail.com, or dming us on Insta @generationbts_, Twitter @generationbts_ and TikTok @generationbts_. We've also joined YouTube @generationbts so you can follow us there too if you want!

You can find the links to the videos and content we talked about here.

Finally, we are also planning on doing a special to celebrate 10 years of BTS, so that should be out in the next month or so! For anyone patiently waiting for our review of Dark & Wild, which we promised you in our last episode, we promise we will get to that next! Make sure you get all updates by subscribing and following our social media (Instagram mainly but we try to keep twitter updated as well) :)

Borahae! x
