Over the next two weeks, the Daily Devo will be focusing on Matthew 5, and more specifically - the BEATITUDES. This section of Matthew 5 comes from a sermon that Jesus gives called the "Sermon on the Mount." As we finish our look at the Beatitudes... we come to a passage that tells us to look above our circumstances when we're insulted for our faith... to see that God's work in us has put us on the enemy's radar, and because there are rewards in heaven for our faithfulness, and because God's light is clearly shining through us... rather than fear or frustration, we should rejoice when we're persecuted!
