Rick talks about advancements in spinal cord research and why those with disabilities need better access.
Rick Hansen is a Paralympian and philanthropist for people with disabilities. In 1985, he circumnavigated the world in a wheelchair raising awareness for spinal cord injury research. Since then, he has become a Canadian icon and a leading philanthropist for people with disabilities. Today, he shares his vision for what we can expect in terms of accessibility and what it means to foster inclusion in an often-exclusionary world. The speech was recorded live at the Celebrating a Century of Genius weekend; a G100 event in honour of Albert Einstein
