In this episode of Girl, You So Random, I had the pleasure of talking with Comedian, D’Marie born and raised in LA. She’s a standup comedienne whose style of comedy is observational and definitely her own! She's performed at Hollywood Improv, Ice-House Comedy Club, Pioneer Dancer Awards (honoring the legendary “Original Lockers” Dance Group, presented by The Dancer Jo Foundation), and more! Studying under the “Comedy Teacher’s Teacher,” Greg Dean, as well as the comedic legend and “King of Venice Beach,” Michael Colyar, D’Marie’s act can range from her family, to her relationship and slight addiction to Randy’s Doughnuts, all the way to exploring why men over 75 always seem to approach her - don’t ask. She may be considered a millennial, but she’s got a soul of gold which allows her to reach audiences both young and old. She believes that her stage presence, honesty, transparency, and desire to have and bring fun onstage are what truly stands out in her act.
