I deconstructed my Mormon faith down to the boneāand when my dad died, the deconstruction shit really hit the fan. Now, Girlscamp isnāt just about whatās fallen apart, but about exploring what might come next.
Around the campfire, weāll swap stories from life after faith shifts, laugh at the quirks of high-demand religion, and dig into the ways Mormonism shows up in our cultureāfrom pop culture and art to media and everyday life. Iāll also sit down with voices ranging from therapists to philosophers to everyday people reimagining belief, as we tackle what it means to live, love, grieve, and grow once certainty is gone.
Honest, curious, and a little irreverentābecause thatās what Girlscamp is all about.

This week, I'm not just sharing my political opinions (though I do a bit of that)āI'm talking about talking about politics: why it feels like such a landmine, whether itās even productive, and how I try to navigate it all.
Correction: In this episode, I mistakenly said that Donald Trump was convicted of sexual assault. He has not been criminally convicted; a civil jury found him liable for sexual abuse and defamation in the E. Jean Carroll case.
Another note: The government shutdown wasnāt completely Trumpās fault, but the bill written by Republicans ā and backed by the White House ā left out the health insurance subsidies Democrats wanted, which made a shutdown much more likely.
