Maria Riegger is based in the Washington, DC area. She is a banking/corporate attorney as well as author and TEDx speaker. She is a certified Inner Child Reparenting Coach and NLP practitioner. A rocky childhood, including the death of a parent, led Maria to consider how to be a better parent in a crazy world. In short, more laughs and positive connections and less dictating and criticizing. Parents should parent with the child's particular needs in mind, rather than the parents' ego needs. 
In helping parents work on their self-improvement, Maria discovered themes of procrastination, people pleasing, and poor boundaries.
