Advent Of Salvation
Good Books, True Stories, Beautiful Songs

Advent Of Salvation
In this episode, we explore the solemn and joyful season of Advent, during which we anticipate the celibration of Jesus' first coming, and His second coming in the future. Books helpful in preparing this episode were; "The Man Born To Be King" by Dorothy L. Sayers, "the 25th" by Joshua Gibbs, and "Behold The Lamb Of God" by Russ Ramsey. Also mentioned are the books of 1 and 2 Maccabees, found in Catholic Bibles and Protestant Bibles containing the Apocrypha. As a Protestant I do not believe these are Scripture, but I do believe they can and should be read particularly during this time of Advent.
