After two decades producing some of television’s biggest reality hits — America’s Got Talent, Jersey Shore, Joe Millionaire, Chrisley Knows Best — I learned something simple but profound: the best stories aren’t about fame, they’re about why. Why people dream. Why they fall. Why they get back up. That’s where the real story lives.
When the world shut down and Hollywood began to unravel, I followed love and landed in Bentonville, Arkansas — a small town that changed everything I thought I knew about community. What I found here was a place built on connection, creativity, and purpose. From the world-class art of Crystal Bridges and The Momentary, to mountain bike trails that wind through the Ozarks, to neighbors who still wave from their porches — Bentonville has become my favorite place in America.
Now, GoodTimes is where I chase that same why through the voices of the people building this new frontier — chefs, founders, artists, and dreamers who remind us that success isn’t about spotlight, it’s about story.
Because when you understand why people do what they do, you don’t just tell a story — you feel it.

Dr. Clayton Knight Marsh | A New Perspective in Education : Thaden School
On this episode of The GoodTimes Show, host Damon Epps sits down with Clayton Marsh, a visionary educator who moved to Bentonville in 2016 to launch Thaden School, an innovative institution reshaping education in Northwest Arkansas.
This conversation takes a deep dive into how Thaden School’s approach to teaching encourages creativity, community involvement, and civic responsibility — all while serving families from diverse backgrounds.
Clayton shares the story behind Thaden’s founding, the role of philanthropic support in making it possible, and why he believes educational access is the foundation of lasting community change. This episode is full of insight for parents looking for inspiring learning environments, educators interested in forward-thinking methods, and anyone passionate about the future of education.
Damon and Clayton also explore what makes Northwest Arkansas such a special place to live, learn, and grow, especially as the region continues to evolve at an incredible pace.
In December 2023, Thaden announced that Michael Maloy will become the next head of school starting June 1, 2024. Clayton will continue leading through the end of the academic year before returning to Princeton, New Jersey, to begin a new chapter closer to family.
The episode also highlights Thaden’s exciting expansion into lower school grades, beginning with K–1 in August 2024 and growing to include K–5.
