In this episode of the GovFuture Podcast we feature a panel discussion from the December 14, 2023 GovFuture Forum DC event that took place in Washington, DC. The hot topic panel focused on “Modernizing Government”. The panel discusses how they are exploring emerging technologies, such as AI, machine learning, and IoT within their agencies. The panelists also share how Zero Trust enables IT modernization. And, what the future of Zero Trust looks like. As well as how will it change our IT infrastructure and workforce.
Data sharing and collaboration among government agencies is crucial for national security. The panel shares what initiatives or best practices they recommend to foster better information sharing without compromising security measures. They also discuss how IT modernization is an ongoing process. The panelists share strategies their agencies are employing to ensure the scalable and sustainable implementation of modernization efforts. And, particularly in the context of data and analytics.
This was a very thought provoking and engaging panel discussion. There were so many incredible nuggets of knowledge shared throughout this entire panel it’s worth listening to the whole thing.The panelists at this event represented CISA, Department of the Interior (DOI), and U.S. Cyber Command.
