I started this podcast with my dear friend Mondi, but she decided she’s happy, for now, to be home with her gorgeous kids. So, I’m flying solo. Greatness Adjacent is a mini deep-dive with people around me who are doing all sorts of inspiring things. I want to hear about their journeys, what the road to here was like for them. I love it all: the failures and missteps along the way that lead to the best pivots, the successes that came later, the discovery of an unexpected calling when life serves up its inevitable surprises, the victory of sheer sticktoitiveness after years of grit work and the easy breezy paths when sometimes personal gifts are just obvious. These stories empower me to keep trying to figure out what my thing is, to go after that and to stay open to change.

Jessie Collins: The Stars At Night Are Big And Bright…
Jessie Collins is an actor whose been on Broadway with a few of the biggest talents out there, starred on many TV shows, and been in some great films. Juilliard trained and rural Texas raised, she grew up in a cattle ranching family with a young single mom and three sisters. Acting wasn’t something she even knew was a career possibility until luck, fate, or divine intervention showed up in the form of a high school acting teacher. She tells her story of moving from her hometown to NY, to navigating her career highs and lows, to marrying her writer husband, and then juggling motherhood for the past three years. She’s one of my best friends, and I think it’ll be easy to hear why. She’s the most honest and warm soul a person could hope to know. Love the show? Subscribe, rate, review, and share!
