Heather shares the story of CCEF, founded three years ago with a state grant to fill crucial financing gaps. “We aren’t here to compete with big banks—big banks need to be our best friends, especially now with the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, as we have access to below-market capital” she explains.
