Welcome back to the Grieving with God, the podcast where we have honest conversations about grief and loss. Today, we're going to tackle something deeply personal and often misunderstood: a blighted ovum.
For those who may not know, a blighted ovum occurs when a fertilized egg implants in the uterus but doesn't develop into an embryo. It’s a loss that can feel profoundly isolating.
Today, we’ll explore what it means to stand on that foundation when the ground beneath us feels like it’s crumbling. How do we trust in His promises when life doesn’t look like we thought it would? How do we hold on to His truth when our circumstances feel unbearable?
And before we dive in, I want to share something new with you. I’ll be releasing shorter mini-episodes where I open up about our loss of Ezekiel—our son who had Trisomy 18—and how that experience has shaped my understanding of grief, faith, and God’s presence. My prayer is that these moments of reflection will encourage you wherever you are in your journey.
