🧪 Dark Alchemy & Cursed Villagers | Eyes of Eleren - D&D Actual Play Episode 🐍🔥
In this gripping installment of "Eyes of Eleren," our adventurers plunge into a tangled web of mind control, forbidden alchemy, and twisted transformations. What begins with the interrogation of a captured lizard folk scout quickly unravels into a dark mystery involving mind-controlling eels, cursed villagers, and a sinister alchemist named Leslie.
⚔️ Episode Highlights: The party learns that the lizard folk are gathering for a secretive ritual and dealing in diamonds, possibly in exchange for dangerous substances. Suspicious and determined, the adventurers follow the trail to a resort tavern where the villagers appear dazed and entranced, their humanity slipping away with each moment.
Inside the tavern, they encounter a terrifying transformation — a dwarf woman who mutates into a monstrous being, revealing the horrifying effects of a spreading curse. In a desperate battle, the adventurers manage to subdue the creature, but the truth they uncover is even more disturbing.
🔬 The Alchemical Lab Revelation: Their search uncovers a hidden lab operated by two scientists, who admit to using eel-based concoctions that alter the minds and bodies of the resort's residents. These experiments were commissioned by Layla/Leslie, an alchemist with a flair for the chaotic and a dangerously cavalier attitude toward life and ethics.
The team devises a plan to brew antidotes for the afflicted villagers, racing against time as more creatures begin to emerge from the tavern's depths. As some members craft potions, others defend the barricaded tavern and protect the innocent.
🧨 The Confrontation with Leslie: The party corners Layla/Leslie in her lab, where she awaits with veiled threats and volatile ingredients — explosives, potions, and dangerous intent all packed into ominous pouches. The scene is set for a final showdown, but the adventurers must tread carefully. One wrong move could spell disaster not only for them, but for the remaining villagers.
