  • A decision of the High Court dated 3rd October 2024 in Farnham Town Council   v Secretary of State for LUH&C, Wates Developments Ltd et al. [2024] EWHC 2458 (Admin), on a S288 statutory challenge to the grant of planning permission allowed on appeal where service of proceedings was late. Did the court have power to extend time and if so, should it?
  • A decision of an inspector dated 30th September 2024 allowing an appeal by Terra Strategic against the decision of Wiltshire Council to refuse an application for outline planning permission for up to 53 dwellings on land to the west of Semington road, Melksham.
  • A decision of the Secretary of State for Transport dated 4th October 2024 granting Associated British Ports application for a development consent order for the Immingham Eastern Ro-Ro Terminal under the Planning Act 2008 comprising three berths and associated landside works, storage areas, terminal buildings and a road bridge on the Humber Estuary/river within the administrative area of North Lincolnshire Council in accordance with the examining inspectors’ recommendation.
