Dr Hōhepa (Joe) Te Rito’s passion for te reo Māori began in 1971, when he became one of the original members of the Te Reo Māori Society at Victoria University of Wellington. In this te reo Māori podcast, Joe acknowledges the efforts that went into the development of the four-volume Ngā Mōteatea series and discusses how these books have contributed to the art and literature of Māori today.
