"Heal You, Heal Your Relationship" is exactly what I did to save my own marriage. Overcoming anxious attachment, fear of abandonment and self sabotage have been my greatest transformation. The process of learning and unlearning is a path we walk when we are intrigued to heal and grow. This is not your average podcast of someone telling you what to do, these are the experiences, lessons of a woman who practices what she preaches and spent two decades overcoming trauma, fears and anxiety.

Tune in to break free of relationship cycles, intrusive anxious thoughts, love fears and behaviors that leave you feeling guilty, worried and ashamed. As you build your self awareness, you grow, as you grow your relationship transforms. The ripple affect is powerful and your host Sasha Quince is proof of that. Sasha, now 17 years into her own marriage after overcoming self sabotage, a mom of two boys but also a trauma survivor, love coach, and dedicated advocate of personal development. Let's do this together!

How to love yourself first and stop placing others’ needs ahead of yours.

Lets dive into the question I get asked a lot "How do I love myself better?" This is something we learn not something we know, our wounds lead us to pull away form us to be loved by others and its totally backwards. Start to flip the script and honor your needs, love you first and watch your relationships thrive and attract healthy love back at you.

This week on Heal You: Heal Your Relationship, Sasha talks about the challenge of putting yourself first, even when life feels busy and everyone else’s needs come first. She shares how over-giving and self-neglect are learned patterns, how small daily signs show you’re not meeting your own needs, and why self-love is the foundation for all healthy relationships. 🌿

Sasha walks you through practical ways to love yourself—from setting boundaries and saying no, to noticing the little ways you show up for yourself each day. She also guides you through her “Soulful Trio” reflection questions, helping you reconnect with your needs and stop outsourcing love to others. 💖

By the end of this episode, you’ll see that loving yourself isn’t selfish—it’s the key to feeling whole, easing guilt, and showing up in relationships with presence, calm, and joy. ✨

Soulful Trio Reflection Questions for this week:

  1. Where in your life are you waiting for someone else to make you feel good about yourself?
  2. What is one small way I can actually make myself feel good about myself today?
  3. What might change in your relationships if you met more of your own needs first versus others?

In this episode, you’ll discover:

  • Self-love comes first—relationships flow easier when your cup is full.
  • Small acts of care matter—notice and meet your needs daily.
  • Over-giving often hides fear—abandonment, rejection, or feeling “not enough.”
  • Boundaries protect your energy, time, and peace.
  • Guilt is part of unlearning—feel it, don’t fight it.
