In this episode of Healing CPTSD, we explore the roots of perfectionism and how it often develops as a protective response to trauma and fear. We'll unpack how perfectionism can keep us stuck in cycles of pressure and self-criticism, even as we’re trying to feel safe, worthy or in control.
I share my own reflections as a recovering perfectionist and offer some gentle, practical tools to help us soften the need to always get it “right.” We’ll talk about how to reframe limiting beliefs, celebrate progress instead of perfection, and begin embracing the freedom of being “good enough.”
