Prof. Leemon McHenry 2/2 : Exploring implications of medical philosophy on evidence-based medicine

Leemon McHenry is a bioethicist and Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at California State University, Northridge. Last week, in Part 1 of this conversation, we talked about misunderstandings about evidence-based medicine, as well as ways to improve it. This week, in Part 2, we talk about the implications of undeclared philosophical views in medicine–such as that of the primacy of the body over mind–and how this may relate to the state of evidence-based medicine today.
