This episode was very minimally edited and was meant to undergo more editing and then go onto the Patreon feed but I left it a bit rough. I decided not to keep editing and to go ahead and post it. On my Patreon feed I used to read old articles from a subscription based archival newspaper site in order to give extra context to some of my episodes for those who want exhaustive deep dives.

The Kirby House is what the Victoria Inn/Hotel Finial was once called. I did one of my first episodes on Victoria Inn/Hotel Finial. Its history is one of my pet projects and I wanted to share that with others who might find it interesting, in the knowledge that many will not. I think this episode might only be interesting to those who live or used to live in the Anniston area and care about its history.
