Loneliness was first talked about as an epidemic by the US Surgeon General. Tamron Hall had an episode where he was a guest and they talked about the many ways loneliness plays a part in someone’s life, health & wellness. I took what I learned and heard to apply it to this podcast episode. I didn’t know when I first heard about loneliness on Tamron show, that 1) I would cry and 2) I would relate. Loneliness has different components, it’s mainly though about human connection. So I applied it to mental health, motherhood and of course spirituality. This episode was recorded in two parts when I felt it at my core and two days later when I had gone to cacao ceremony and gained a reiki certification that changed my perspective a little on how I was feeling loneliness.
