Welcome to my look at Freddy's Nightmares: A Nightmare On Elm Street: The Series pilot episode.
If you have never heard of this it was a horror tv show hosted by Freddy from 1988-1990.
In this we see Fred Kruger's trial and death at the hands of the angry mob of parents of the kids Freddy killed take revenge. Turning him into everyone's favourite dream demon.
